Dr. Randi Lou Franklin was raised in a multi-cultural, diverse household. She is the daughter of Lee Franklin (deceased) who supported her love of languages and people from an early age. Randi Lou continues to nurture this passion through her education at Roeper and then her continued education at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), University of Michigan, Wayne State University and MSU College of Law, specializing in international law at Magdalen College, Oxford. Randi Lou’s 1st opportunity to work within the community started when she created and worked in SW Detroit in its first Hispanic legal services program at LASED. After being exposed to so many who were not understood in their native language and culture, Dr. Randi Lou left legal services and created INTER-LINGUA. INTER-LINGUA allows Dr. Randi Lou to follow her passion as an educator (from K- college levels), interpreter-translator, entrepreneur, speaker on global business and development, and mentor. INTER-LINGUA has been your foreign language resource for over 30 years. Dr. Randi enjoys traveling, classic cars, her dog Niko, art, Motown, and warm weather activities.
